Pool Has Reopened, Select Parks Have Extended Their Hours

This week saw a few changes for our Parks—the reopening of the swimming pool at Cutler Ridge Park and extended hours at three Town Parks:

Pool at Cutler Ridge Park: The Pool at Cutler Ridge Park reopened this week, with limited hours and following all the restrictions set forth by the County's New Normal Guidelines. Here are some key points regarding the pools, if you plan to visit:
  • Open Monday to Friday during the following hours
  • 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. is for Public/Lap Swim
  • 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. is for organized swim teams
  • Masks must be worn and may be removed just before entering the pool to swim
  • Reduced capacity will be observed to only 25%
  • Showers will not be available
  • Lockers will not be available
  • There will be a one-way flow (enter through the locker rooms and exit through the exterior fence)
  • Water fountains will remain out-of-order, per the County's Order, but a water bottle refill station will be available
  • One person per lane will be allowed, unless swimmers are from the same household
If you have any additional questions, contact Michelle Horne at mhorne@cutlerbay-fl.gov.

Extended Hours at Select Parks: As of September 15, select Town parks extended their hours of service until 10 p.m. which will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. This follows Miami-Dade County's new Order issued over the weekend which extended County parks' hours operation until 10 p.m., allowing for the Town to do the same. The following parks are now open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily (with restrictions as outlined by the County's New Normal Guidelines):
Other Town parks that are open but will keep the hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. are Blue Heron Park, Lincoln City Park, and Saga Lake Park. All other Town parks not listed are closed until further notice. Learn more about our Town Parks.
