Dear Families,

Thank you for your partnership and cooperation as we continue to work to increase the safety and effectiveness of our procedures and protocols in this return to campus and the new school year.

In order to ensure more safety and agility to the student's pick up, and in accordance with the protocols in the Panther Playbook, starting Monday, August 16, the following procedures will be implemented:

Year 1 Students of the Elementary School (starting August 18th)
Year 1 students will be delivered to their guardians starting at 3 pm through the side gate of PASBinha's internal parking lot after the school has been notified via the Panther Pick Up app.

Students from Year 2 to Year 5 of the Elementary School
The guardians of students from Year 2 to Year 5 of the Elementary School will use the exclusive pick up lane at PASB's main campus. Car entry will be authorized at 2:40 pm. Students will be released starting at 3pm to guardians who have informed the school through the Panther Pick Up app

Cards with student names, grades and classes have been distributed for easy identification of cars. These ID cards must be placed on the dashboard and visible through the car’s windshield to facilitate identification at the pick up lane. Only vehicles with ID cards will be allowed to access the driveway.

Cars will follow a single line. Students should enter only through the right side of the car (passenger side), and the car will be able to leave through the left lane, which will be free for cars to exit.

If the child takes a long time to exit the gate, the driver will be asked to park the car in one of the reserved spaces just in front of the main gate area to wait for the child to be escorted by security guards to the car.

PASB’s parking lot may only be used for this purpose. If the guardian arrives early and wishes to park, they can use the parking spaces available on the street in front of PASB’s main campus.

Students from Year 6 to Year 8 - Middle School

Guardians of Year 6 to Year 8 students (Middle School) will also use the exclusive lane in the pick up area of PASB’s main campus. Cars will only be allowed to enter at 3:15 pm, the time that students from this division are released. Students will be released starting at 3:15 pm to guardians who have informed the school through the Panther Pick Up app

Cars will also be able to wait for students at the first lane next to the sidewalk until they reach the entrance to the exclusive lane, as long as they do not disturb the traffic flow of the street.

If a student takes a long time to exit the gate, the driver will be asked to park the car in one of the reserved spaces just in front of the main gate area to wait for the security guards to escort the child to the car.

If the family has students in more than one division, please plan to arrive at school at 3:15 pm. If you arrive earlier, you may use the parking spaces along the public road in front of PASB's main campus. Waiting in the pick up line will not be allowed.

Students from Year 9 to Year 12 - High School
Pick up at 3:15 pm in front of PASBinha’s main gate (Tamburugy Avenue)

Students from Year 9 to Year 12 or High School must be picked up at the Main Gate of the Early Childhood Education Campus, PASBinha, starting at 3:15 pm. Students will be released after guardians communicate with the school via the Panther Pick Up app.

Cars will follow a single line on Av. Tamburugy, towards Av. Orlando Gomes. Students should enter only through the right side of the car (passenger side), and the car will be able to leave through the left lane, which will be free for cars to exit.

If the student takes a long time to get to the car, the driver will be invited to park the car in one of the parking spaces in front of PASBinha to wait for the student.

Important Notice!
If a family has children in more than one division they should note the following:

  • High School students with Middle School siblings: Middle School students must be picked up with High School students at PASBinha’s Main Gate.

  • High School students with Elementary siblings: High School students who have siblings in Elementary School should leave campus through the front gate of PASB’s Main Campus.

  • ECC students with Elementary siblings: Families who have children in ECC and Elementary will need to make arrangements to pick up their children at both campuses at each division's departure time. School staff will not be allowed to move students between the two campuses.

We appreciate and value the cooperation and partnership of our families.
Best regards,

Your PASB Team
