Will You Sign the One Dallas Pledge? cutive From Bob Dean, Executive Director
One Dallas Movement
God is using Bryan Carter (Concord Church) and Jeff Warren (Park Cities Baptist Church) in a great way in our city. This past Saturday, together they wrote an opinion article that was printed in the Saturday edition of the Dallas Morning News.  Here is a link to their article.

Bryan and Jeff are also leading the way in the One Dallas Movement. Yesterday, many churches in Dallas participated in a citywide Day of Unity and Justice.  Pastors in the participating churches preached on Micah 6:8. I listened to the sermons of Bryan Carter and Jeff Warren. I encourage you to listen to them.

Here is some information about One Dallas movement from their website: www.onedallasmovement.org

One Dallas invites every member of our community to gain greater understanding of racial injustice and to fight inequities in our city. In the same way that the Civil Rights Movement grew largely out of faith communities, One Dallas will build on the work of Dallas Clergy and other networks among community leaders by:
  • Building Awareness: Creating a platform that deepens our community’s understanding of racial inequities
  • Committing to Fight Racial Injustice: Inviting all Dallasites to join the One Dallas Pledge
  • Engaging in the Work: Highlighting opportunities to learn more about racial injustice, helping individuals grow in their understanding and uncovering of biases, and by steering them towards opportunities to come alongside existing organizations working to address inequities
  • Activating Deep, Lasting Advocates: Growing the community in solidarity and commitment to helping one another’s needs

I have signed the One Dallas Pledge and invite you to consider being a part as well.
Your church should comply with the appropriate health protocols.
