Community-Port Collaboration Toolkit Training
The new Community-Port Collaboration Toolkit training modules are designed to introduce each tool with options for exploring more or less detail depending on the allotted time for training as outlined in the Training Facilitators Resource. Community leaders, port operators, local governments and other goods movement industries are key audiences for this training that is designed for 15-30 participants to allow for interactive discussion. Links to the Toolkit training resources in Word and PowerPoint format are below. The Community-Port Collaboration Toolkit is designed to help communities and port operators develop collaboration skills and to enhance understanding of stakeholders' priorities and challenges associated with port-related activities. The Toolkit includes the Ports Primer for Communities, the Community Action Roadmap, and the Environmental Justice (EJ) Primer for Ports along with associated training materials and worksheets.
Community Benefits Agreement Training
Community benefits agreement (CBA) training seeks to help participants learn the basics of CBAs, develop a shared language for communicating community concerns, and engage in dialogue around lessons learned from other similar CBA processes.
