CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
ANAC2022 - Tampa, FL
Nov. 17-19
(pre-conference activities Nov. 16)
You are invited to submit an abstract to be a part of the world's leading conference for nurses and others involved in HIV/AIDS care and related co-morbidities. Each year, hundreds of nurses, students and healthcare providers gather at the annual ANAC conference to learn from professionals like you about topics related to HIV.

ANAC seeks abstracts for oral concurrent sessions, symposia, posters and student posters. Authors are invited to submit abstracts that relate to the following conference objectives:

  • Clinical: Identify effective approaches to prevention, diagnosis, treatment and/or supportive care of people with or at risk for HIV and/or co-occurring conditions across their lifespan.

  • Policy: Build capacity of nurses and other healthcare professionals to effectively engage in health policy and advocacy to improve health and create health equity in support of people living with or affected by HIV.

  • Leadership: Describe nurse leadership opportunities and their impact on healthcare and society.

  • Global: Demonstrate the impact of nurses and other healthcare professionals in addressing HIV and/or co-occurring conditions in global settings.

  • Research: Discuss innovations in HIV biomedical, psychosocial, behavioral and care and delivery research.

  • Trends and emergent conditions: Provide updated analysis of emerging health and related issues that impact people living with or at risk for HIV and their care team.

Abstracts will be accepted until April 18. The deadline will NOT be extended. View the submission instructions. You can also view a webinar outlining tips on submitting a successful abstract.

New policy: To simplify the abstract submission process, completing paperwork for continuing education will only be required if your abstract is accepted for presentation.

We encourage you to submit an abstract. As you know, the heart and soul of ANAC's conference are the presentations by our members and colleagues. I know that our members are doing great work every day, and we all have knowledge, skills and experiences that we can share. ANAC's conference is a remarkable venue to showcase your important work. Please share this with your colleagues and encourage them to submit their work as well. You do not need to be an ANAC member to submit an abstract.

Submit an abstract today! The deadline is April 18. I look forward to seeing everyone in sunny Tampa in November!

Sincerely,
