We want to thank everyone who turned out and participated in our virtual Zoom classes! We hope you enjoyed the offering while we waited patiently for a return to some semblance of normalcy. We have certainly missed having you all around and cannot wait to get back to full capacity and get our class schedule full again.
That being said, I have been working hard to get a schedule put together for all those comfortable and able to return back to the gym. Please keep in mind, not all of our instructors felt comfortable coming back to a live platform yet. We will work with the schedule we have for now and readjust as needed!
While our live class schedule is limited, and SIGN-UPS ARE REQUIRED beforehand to attend, we do also have the NEW Virtual Les Mills classes available in our Group Fitness room. These classes will include Sh'Bam, Body Pump, Body Combat, and Body Flow in addition to the virtual spin classes we have offered in the past.
Speaking of signing up, I will reiterate again, you must sign up beforehand to attend any class, live or virtual. You can do this via the MindBody App (my preferred way), or through our online schedule. If you have questions about the app or need help with your account, do not hesitate to reply to this email or call the gym at (207) 772-5444 so we can add you to the class via phone and reserve your spot.
We will be accepting up to 8 participants + the instructor in the room. Tracy and I have worked hard to space out where mats and benches can be placed to comply with the guidelines provided for us.
- Group Ex Room: Per usual, the blue dots go at top right of your bench. We have asked instructors to be here at least 15 minutes early to get familiar with the new guidelines. However if this is not the case, we do ask you to pick one of the designated spots and remain in your space during class. For classes without much equipment, use these dots as a spacing guideline to remain a good distance from those around you.
- Studio Zen: We will add the blue dot in Studio Zen for the top right of your yoga mat. Members will be staggered. Evening yoga's will have the option to go outside per instructor discretion. For Barre, members will be spaced out around the perimeter of the room and will participate in all aspects of the class in that location. The instructor will be there to guide you and make sure your spots are set up beforehand.
- Spin Studio: Bikes will be spaced out prior to class, we ask that you do not move them around.
In addition, we have received some feedback from members about continuing live virtual classes. We have heard you and are working on the best way to continue forward. For the next few weeks, we will
only have Live and Virtual In-house Classes and no live streaming until we can get our feet back on the ground and find the best way to make both options possible. One option we are considering is doing a live stream when a live class is scheduled.
