LEARNING TO LOVE-NEW SERMON SERIES
We will be going through the Epistle of 1 John during the Sundays of Epiphany, Jan. 10-Feb. 14. This book is a real “book of love” with 26 references to love in just five short chapters. Be sure to join us as we grow in our love for the Lord and our love for one another. These will be the weekly themes, which fittingly will end on Feb. 14th, Valentine’s day.

Pastor Henschel is leading a class on the Book of Romans, the 16 Chapter New Testament Epistle. The basic theme of St. Paul’s monumental work is “righeousness” - how Jesus’ perfect righteousness covers man’s unrighteousness.

The Ten Commandments - Linda Hinkle - Conference Room 15E - Women’s Bible Study
The Women’s Sunday morning Bible Study group will by studying The Ten Commandments in depth to get further understanding of God’s commandments. We will explore how we can use them in our daily lives. This will be our lessons for January, February and March.

Women’s Wednesday Morning Bible Class - On Break Until March

Messiah Share Little Free Food Pantry - Available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Located in East Church Office entryway - 2nd location in the Church Narthex
A public food pantry is now available for anyone who is in need of food. We encourage you to help keep the pantry stocked and share what you can to keep these much needed sources of food stocked with non-perishable food. Simply place your donated food items inside the pantry cabinet whenever you visit the Messiah building. For more questions, please contact Kelly Baker.
Ronald McDonald House Thanks You
The aluminum can pull tabs that we have been collecting were delivered last month to the Ronald McDonald House, and they were so thanksful and appreciative for them. They said that every little one helps. Pull tabs are collected all year long and you can place your saved ones in the marked jar at the Messiah Care Corner when it is convenient for you.
We are in need of volunteers to read scripture during our in-person worship services. Training will be provided. To sign up, or to ask questions, please contact Barbara Chaple.

Limited Enrollment is Now Available for Second Semester In-Person Learning
Our Messiah Lutheran School is now taking enrollment for the 2nd semester of this school year for in-person learning. Spaces are available but limited, so if you are interested, contact the school soon. Due to our present COVID increases, there will be no S.O.A.R. event in January. Please be sure to check in on your Messiah friends to see how they are doing. We will keep you posted to let you know when we will meet again.
