Community Chaplaincy Program Update
The Certificate in Community Chaplaincy is designed for any individual who desires to be an agent of healing in their local community. Community-based chaplaincy allows caring citizens to offer the gift of their skillful presence, authentic companionship and deep compassion to the places of need, hurt, loneliness and discord in their community.

The Community Chaplaincy Program first cohort is being formed now. Training sessions in volunteer chaplain opportunities, and methods of hybrid Zoom / telephone / in-person chaplaincy are planned in the near future. An on-boarding process will take place in the fall with the program scheduled to begin in January 2021. Click here for a detailed description of the program with bios of the instructors.

John Jeffery, Th.D. will give three interactive Zoom presentations with opportunities to have your questions answered. The sessions are free, but registration is required. Click on the date most convenient to you to register.
