Upcoming Events
Teens, we're having a Pool Party! Join us at the Sisson home, 6874 Kirk Lane, Burleson on Friday, July 23 at 7pm. For additional information or questions, contact Pastor Eli.
Our next One Thing service is Saturday, July 24 at 6pm in the Sanctuary. Be sure to invite your family, friends, and neighbors who don't have a church home. Follow our One Thing Facebook Page. For more details, contact Pastor Josh.
We will be serving as a TAFB food pantry on Tuesday, July 27 from 6pm-7pm. All able-bodied volunteers over the age of 16 are welcome to come and help with set up and distribution. Set up is from 4:30pm–6pm. This will include setting up tables and packing food. Distributing meals to the community will be from 6pm–7pm. We appreciate your helping in serving our community! Interested in becoming a member of First Church? Join us for New Members classes Sunday, August 8 and Sunday, August 15 at 9:30am in Room 111 (Parlor). Both classes are required for membership. Register online or contact Pastor Danny for more information. New members will be received on Sunday, August 22.
Scholarship Opportunities
The Luther F. and Nancy D. Warner Scholarship

This scholarship, for first or second year college students, is available for the 2021/2022 school year. Regular attendees of First Church planning to attend a certified college or university as a full-time student are eligible to apply. Students must meet the eligibility guidelines and complete the application. The guidelines can be found here and application here. The application must be returned by August 1. The Recipient will be notified by August 15. If you have any questions, or need assistance, please feel free to email the church office.

Men's Breakfast meets each Tuesday at 6:30am at Our Place in Burleson. This is a special time devoted to growing together as we grow in Christ.

Rightnow Media is available for our church families. It is a streaming library of Bible study videos and is an excellent resource for all ages. Families can use this as a devotional tool. If you would like access to this valuable resource, please contact Pastor Jennifer and she can assist you.
