Shooters...
Well, it was another fun weekend for the Maine State Warmup...unfortunately, this is May in Maine. This week we had sunny temps 70s - 90s. For our event, though, it was cold, windy, and rainy, but we did have a shoot. Hey, at least it wasn’t too hot.
PUBLIC SPORTING
As always the targets from both events will be up this Wednesday from 10am - 4pm and next Sunday from 10am - 2pm. Come on back and practice what you missed.
RESULTS
The Main Event was described as really slippery. Everything was right there but quickly slipped by. We had a tie for HOA between Chuck DeVinne and Chris Schwarzer both with 91. Chuck won by tie breaker. Congratulations to both! The Super Sporting event was fun, but still tricky. Chuck DeVinne continued his run by winning with a 94, and once again Chris Schwarzer was runner up with a 93. Congratulations to both, again.
THANK YOU
Thanks to Lisa for registration and scoring. Thanks to Jim, Bill, Pam and Steve for filling and stocking all the traps. Thanks to all of you that braved the cold and rain to come out and shoot.
Our next shoot will be the Maine State Sporting Clays Championship, Thursday - Sunday, June 24 - 27. Pre-registration will open next Monday, June 7.
Thank you, again, for a great weekend!
