Fresh Trivia:
Did you know?

The Name "pecan" is a Native American word that was used to describe nuts requiring a stone to crack.

The pecan pie was created by French people who had settled in New Orleans.

The pecan is heart healthy and contains antioxidants, 19 vitamins and minerals and healthy fat. One of mineral components is zinc, which is important in producing testosterone in both males and females.

4.  In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine corn syrup, evaporated milk, maple syrup, chocolate chips and brown sugar and mix everything together.

5. Once mixture has melted (stir continuously), mix in vanilla extract and salt.

6. Pour mixture over pre-baked crust, then top with chopped pecans, pressing nuts gently into the fudge so they adhere.
