SEEING WHAT YOU SAY
When it comes to faith, it is received without seeing. You must see it in your spirit and believe that it is from God according to the scriptures. If we can see it then it doesn’t take faith to receive it.
We are told in scripture in Hebrews 10:38, “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back (from faith) my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” This is a quote from the Book of Habakkuk 2:4 where it says, “… but the just shall live by his faith.”
Hebrews 6:15 says, “And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.” This verse is speaking of Abraham. Now consider his situation. He was nearly a hundred years old and his body for procreation was dead. His wife’s body was past the years of childbearing, so her body was dead to receive the seed of procreation. Since her husband couldn’t give her seed there was no way that they could have a child. It was impossible. Yet, God told Abraham he would have children, and they would be more than all the stars and the sand on the beach. Now that is quite a promise to someone that couldn’t procreate.
Abraham chose to believe God. He determined not to say what he saw with his natural eyes, which was a dead body, but instead chose to start speaking what God said, and in his spirit see this coming to pass. He chose to “see” what he would say. This is faith.
Whatever it is that you need, whether it is financial help, healing in your body, a new job, a car, a home, a ministry, in the natural it may look impossible. There is no way to pay your bills or be healed. You may have even been given a death sentence from a doctor. This is not the time to believe what you see. It is time to say or speak the promises of God over your situation. You must see it before you receive it. That is the law of faith.
If you have been speaking what you “see” in the natural, you might be cursing yourself. I did this years ago, and I had to repent. If that is the case with you, then you must repent also, and allow God to work the situation out. Remember, it says we must patiently endure until we receive the promise. That takes faith, but you must remember without that kind of faith you can’t please God.
Change what you say by changing what you see, and you will reap the results!
