2023 SAR Dues Due

Your 2023 SAR annual dues are due January 1st, 2023.

You should have received an email regarding this.

If you did not receive this email, please call the SAR at 326-9222 or continue with the online payment process here.

To pay your 2023 SAR annual dues online, click on the graphic below, which will bring up the login screen for the SAR member portal:

Once online, use the Review and Pay Balance section to make your payment online.

Alternately, you may retrieve an invoice while online to pay by mail - send to: 1924 North Ash Street, Spokane WA 99205.

2023 First Quarter MLS Fees Due

1st Quarter MLS Fees for 2023 have been invoiced and posted to the SAR Member Portal.

Payment must be received on or before December 30, 2022.

To pay your 1st Quarter MLS Fees online, click on the button above, or go to the MLS Dashboard and click on the SAR Payments icon.

When paying online, please do not combine your Annual SAR Dues with your Quarterly MLS Fees.

These must be paid separately.

City of Spokane Threatens to Change Individual REALTORS® license Fees to Sell Property

Under a newly proposed set of landlord/tenant regulations, the Spokane City Council will require each individual REALTOR® and landlord to purchase a Spokane Business License.

January 18th & 19th, 2023

Online registration will close promptly at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.

No on-site registration.

This exciting two-day event is designed for members to gain insight into the legislative process and see firsthand how our GA team advocates for REALTORS®.

First-time Attendees Go Free!

First-time attendees can attend Hill Day on January 19th for free. This includes lunch, shuttle transportation between the Olympia Hotel and the Capitol Building, meeting materials, and admittance to the Legislative Reception. This offer is for REALTORS® only.

Veteran real estate broker and investor Dave Black talks about the factors, locally and globally, that will influence the Spokane real estate markets in the coming years - in the year-end edition of the Journal of Business:

For an area that was based on mining, agriculture, and timber, we have a great diversity in our economy now. Our health care industry is thriving, and we have an emerging aerospace manufacturing base, a good supply of venture capital, a great University District with two medical schools, and a number of startup companies that are worth millions of dollars.

I think the next generation will see the Spokane area change from a large, small town to a metropolitan area. Spokane will continue to be discovered because of its quality of life, increased technology (the ability to work anywhere), and great people. This will bode well for every facet of real estate moving forward.

Condolences

The SAR extends its sympathy and condolences to the friends and family of Sally O’Brien, Windermere Manito.

Sally passed this last week and services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at St Augustine Catholic Church at 428 W 19^th Ave, Spokane, WA at 10:00 a.m.

There will be a reception afterwards.

Sally has been a member of the Spokane REALTORS® since 1974.

She was much loved and will be greatly missed.

The SAR extends its condolences to Sue Wolford, John L. Scott Spokane, South Hill.

Sue’s husband, Billy Anders, passed on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

We will pass on information about services as soon as we receive it.
