Ageism Ends with Action

Keep a lookout this month to look for San Francisco's EndAgeism.com advertising on bus shelters, light poles, social media, and more. And take action yourself to help reframe how we talk about the strengths that endure throughout our lives.

San Francisco Community Health Needs Assessment 2019
SF Hip Logo
In September, the San Francisco Health Improvement Partnership released their most recent Community Health Needs Assessment, with a focus on critical health and related issues in the City.  The report targeted 5 health needs that heavily impact disease and death in San Francisco.
A Closing Quote from a Satisfied CLC Participant...
"I just want to say how happy I am with the services and programs being provided to us the seniors by you and your organization.  So many.  Because of my recent heart attack the walking is really helping me, every time I see my doctor he asks "how much walking are you doing? ".  I would respond hardly any.  Now I can report that I walk a minimum of two hours a week.  Could not go walking alone in the hood, too many stories of what sometimes happens.  Again, thank you so much.  God bless you."
