The COVID-19 vaccine is the best way for us to get back to a thriving economy and community. We are reaching out to you, our community partner, to ask for your assistance in sharing vaccine resources and opportunities to get vaccinated within our community.
At this time, anyone 12 and older is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Pfizer is the only vaccine currently approved for those 12-17 years old. The COVID-19 vaccine is available to everyone at no cost, and no ID or insurance are required.
Please share the following resources as you are able. To request additional resources, please contact the Winnebago County Health Department at health@co.winnebago.wi.us or 920-232-3026.
We appreciate your support!

Walk-In Wednesday Vaccine Clinic Through June
The Winnebago County Health Department is offering a free walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic every Wednesday through June, from 1pm-6pm, at Sunnyview Expo Center. Help us spread the word!
Please consider printing and posting the following signs to promote the free walk-in clinic. They are all sized to fit on 8.5"x11" paper. The poster would be great in areas highly visible to the public, breakrooms, bathroom stall doors and community bulletin boards. The quarter sheet flyers could be included in shopping bags, placed in a stack at your front desk, or put in to-go food orders. The images can also be used for newsletters and social media.

Considerations for Businesses & Workplaces
|
|
-
Encourage vaccination among your staff. COVID-19 vaccines are effective at protecting you from getting sick. Offering paid time off, flexible scheduling, and incentives for staff to get vaccinated are all ways to boost your staff vaccination rate.
-
Host a vaccination clinic, either for your staff or for the community on your premises. Consider anonymously polling your staff to determine how many are vaccinated. If you are a large employer, this can help you assess vaccination rates among different departments, which can aid in your planning.
-
The CDC announced that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask. Consider if your business or workplace needs a masking policy. A masking policy could include who needs to wear a mask (such as vaccinated vs. unvaccinated staff) and in which circumstances.
- Answering questions like, “How many staff members are vaccinated? How crowded is our workspace? What is my staff’s comfort with existing policies?” can help you assess your needs.
- Consider including your staff in this decision, such as by surveying them on their preferences.
- Some businesses allow customers to request that staff members they are interacting with to mask up (for example, if a customer approaches the counter in a mask, employees could mirror them by also putting a mask on during the interaction).
-
Encourage unvaccinated people to mask up. This applies to both staff and customers (via signage).
-
Review and implement CDC’s sector-specific guidance to reduce risk. This guidance for your sector may include things like increasing ventilation, specific cleaning procedures, etc.
-
Have a plan if an employee is sick or was exposed. Be familiar with what to do if you have an employee who is sick or exposed to someone with COVID-19. In most circumstances, people who are vaccinated do not need to quarantine, which is even more incentive for folks to get vaccinated!
-
Continue to offer customers and staff flexibility that works for your business. During the pandemic, you might have offered your customers new options, like carryout or curbside service. Your staff may have been able to work from home or have a more flexible schedule. Continue to offer customers and staff flexibility that works for your business.
-
Retain policies for hygiene, employee illness, and cleaning. These policies prevent the spread of illnesses like COVID-19, flu, and whooping cough, as well as the spread of viruses like norovirus.

Additional Resources
-
¿Qué pasa con Co-vid? NE Wisconsin? is a Facebook page with Spanish COVID-19 resources. The page includes information about where and how you can receive the vaccine and about clinics in NE Wisconsin that offer help in Spanish.
-
Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, immediate tax credits are available through most of 2021 to businesses with under 500 employees that offer paid sick and family leave due to COVID illness, quarantine, testing, vaccination, or caregiving. Offering paid sick and family leave helps fight the virus by helping employees get vaccinated and encouraging sick employees to stay home. Find more information on this flyer and on the U.S. Department of the Treasury's website.
