Volunteer Vaccination Verification

As of October 18th, volunteers must be vaccinated. Rockwell is a LWSD approved location to verify vaccination status for volunteers who are currently LWSD approved.

To maintain distancing and our regular work schedule, we will have 10 minute appointment slots available for you to stop by with your government issues picture ID (with a date of birth) and proof of vaccination from one of the three acceptable forms of verification:

Math Challenge #1
Due by Thursday, October 7th

Math Challenge is back for this school year! For those who are new to the program, Math Challenge is a PTA sponsored program that is offered free to all students at Rockwell.

There are 15 challenges total for the school year and each challenge contains math problems that are appropriate for each grade level. This program is optional and our aim is to encourage students to enjoy learning and working on math. It is a great family activity, as we encourage the students to work with family to discuss and solve the questions. Please feel free to try more questions than the minimum required for your grade level in order to qualify. Lucky winners will be chosen from qualified submissions in each grade level for each math Challenge.

Once the student completes the challenge, simply email their paper by the due date to mathchallenge@normanrockwellpta.org

Our first Math Challenge is now avaiable. You can access the challenge HERE. The due date for Math Challenge #1 is Thursday, October 7th.

For Elementary School Students

Applications available Sept 8 to Oct 1
Deadline 4PM on October 1, 2021

  • First-Grade Students should not apply during this application period. First grade students are screened for Highly Capable Programs in their general education classroom.


  • Students must live in Lake Washington School District to apply.

Looking for Art Docent Volunteers

Every grade will need an art docent leader. This person will be trained by the art docent coordinator to help facilitate the beloved art docent program in the classrooms.
Annual Beagle Contributions (aka ABC) Fund

Please consider donating to the ABC fund to help support the programs we we want for all students.

Click here to donate to ABC today (It's step #3 in the welcome packet, after you join the PTA).

This year we are asking every family to donate $110 per student to the ABC fund. In honor of families who might not be able to contribute due to the financial impacts of Covid, we are asking families who have not been detrimentally impacted by the pandemic to GIVE BIG and consider donating twice the suggested amount.

Did you know that the Norman Rockwell Elementary School PTA is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization?

Donations to the organization may be tax deductible. Many companies also match employee’s charitable contributions. Your annual beagle contribution is considered a donation & may be eligible to be matched.
