LWHS PTSA Parent Survey Results
The LWHS PTSA recently provided a survey to LWHS parents about current and potential LWHS PTSA programs. The survey committee is reviewing all of the results and is now focused on gathering more information about potential programs the PTSA might undertake if administrative support and funding exist. Based on the survey results, the following initiatives are of the biggest potential interest to LWHS parents:

  1. Initiatives to support student social/emotional well-being
  2. Initiatives to support student health, nutrition & physical well-being
  3. Initiatives to support students academically
  4. Initiatives to support less cell phone/social media use by students during school
  5. Supervised study/hang out area after school until 5:00 pm

As the PTSA values this parental input, we are seeking more of your ideas to investigate what might be feasible to implement for the LWHS students and community. The comments provided in the survey have been helpful, but more information from parents would be beneficial. If you have ideas, insights or experience that could help address any of these topics, please email them to  president@lwhsptsa.org . New programs require volunteer support, so if you would like to help structure or plan for any of these proposals, please include that information in your email.

If you would like to see the survey results in more detail, please visit here  and  here.
