Parent Teacher Interviews / IPP meetings
Our first round of Parent Teacher Interviews/IPP meetings are coming up on the evenings of Wednesday, September 16th and Thursday, September 17th. Meetings can be booked on each half hour between 3:30pm and 8:30pm.

Due to the COVID-19 protocols, we will be doing these meetings virtually this round, using Google Meet.
The Office will be sending the schedule link tomorrow (Wednesday) for you to sign up for a time to meet with your teaching team.

High School parents/guardians: You will have the opportunity to sign up with your homeroom/cohort teaching team, as well as book a shorter time with the other subject-area teaching team if you would like to meet them as well.

Welcome to New Heights: Parent Information Session
This session is for our families who are joining us for the first time this school year, with a student in Grades 1-12.

To help welcome you to the New Heights school community, we are recording a session for parents who are new to our school program. This session will be sent out the week of September 14th and will provide information on who we are and what we do.

Topics that will be covered include:

  • September at New Heights: what are the students doing and learning in the classroom
  • Who is the therapy team and how do they work with the students and in the classroom
  • New Heights terminology
  • Parent Teacher interviews: what to expect, what questions to ask, and information to communicate to the school team

If you are a returning parent who would like to take part in the session, you are more than welcome to join. Let us know and we will add you to the link.

Thank you!
