• If symptoms appear, the concerned individuals should call 1 877 644-4545 to obtain a COVID-19 screening test.
• When a person is tested for COVID-19, he or she must remain isolated in his or her home until a result is obtained. This result may be positive or negative.
• When the result is positive, the person's treating physician is notified. The person is asked to remain in isolation for at least 14 days.
• During the initial interview with the COVID-19 patient, everyone who came into contact with him/her during the period of contagion is identified.
• Then, the Public Health team calls all these contacts. It notifies them that they have been in contact with a person suffering from the disease.
• All high-risk contacts are called daily by the Public Health team.
