Meet Andres
"My name is Andres Jojoa and I grew up in Colombia, South America. I moved to the United States a few years ago and my life changed in many ways. I started taking English as a second language classes at SRJC and it was fascinating for me because I looked around and my classmates were from countries like Brazil, China, France, Peru, Madagascar, Singapore and others. I felt like I was in different countries. SRJC is one of my favorite places since I started making friends and finding opportunities like joining the SRJC tennis team, learning a third language which is Japanese, taking art and music classes, and now I am part of the student government. My major is Ecology because I am a lover of animals and plants and I would like to understand how they live together and, in the future, restore their habitats that were affected for some reason and conserve the ecosystems that are still alive. I am happy with where I come from and where I am at the moment. I hope you all have a good experience here and, if you need help, I will be happy to assist you or provide you with useful resources to make your student life easier."
