Insider Alert - August 24, 2020
We are continuing to monitor the developments with weather in regard to our planned events this week. If we need to communicate any changes to our events we will send out notifications via this email system.
Student Homeroom Class Information
We have a new process this year to access your child(ren)’s homeroom teacher information. Please login to your Parent Portal account in FACTS (for returning families - it is the same place you use to check grades, and for new families it is the same place where you completed your enrollment packet).

The homeroom teacher information for your child(ren) will be within the FACTS Parent Portal under the student section. Click here for a help document on how to login to Parent Portal for the Student Homeroom Information.

We realize this is a change from the past in how the homeroom lists were distributed. This new process is part of a data security update we are making to not publish in a public place a full list of our students and their student ID numbers as has been done in the past.

Hopes & Fears Conference Scheduling

Our first Parent-Teacher conferences of the year will be scheduled from September 1st - 3rd. All of the conferences will take place virtually, and parents will be given the opportunity to sign up for a specific 10-15 minute time slot. All parents are expected to have a Hopes and Fears Conference with each of their child(ren)’s teacher(s). Students do not need to attend the Hopes and Fears Conference, but are always welcome. The purpose of the Hopes & Fears Conference is for the parent(s) to share their hopes and their fears for their child specific to the upcoming school year. The Teacher’s responsibility in these meetings is to listen, take notes, and learn as much as possible about each student.

To schedule the conferences, you will receive a separate email from your child’s homeroom teacher with a link to their specific Sign Up Genius to schedule your Hopes & Fears Conference.
