9% increase in court costs for claims online

The government announced that there is a strong justification to proceed with the alignment of fees for online and paper civil money and possession claims. This means that there will be a 9% increase in court costs for claims online. Online possession claims will now cost £355.

Adjusted Right to Rent Checks to continue

The Home Office has extended the period in which letting agents and landlords in England can carry out Right to Rent checks by video call, to 31 August 2021.
