Graduation
Monday, May 24 at 2:00 PM Amway Center

This schedule is based on the availability of the Amway Center during the NBA playoffs or Solar Bears games, and safety conditions due to COVID-19.

In the event graduations cannot take place at the Amway Center, alternative locations will be determined.

Safety precautions will include but are not limited to, the mandatory wearing of face masks, social distancing, limited ticketing (exact number per graduate to be determined), strict arrival, departure and stage procedures.

All guidelines and protocols are being developed in conjunction with the Florida Department of Health in Orange County and the Amway Center.

All OCPS schools listed above will live stream their graduations.

We are excited to share the partnership between Orange Technical College and Career Source of Central Florida. Each year we invest time and resources to prepare our high school students for career exploration activities and the summer internship program.

  • For young adults ages 15-19
  • Duration: 4 weeks
  • Location: Online Course
  • Providers: Orange Technical College & Valencia College
  • Virtual tours of participating Central Florida colleges, technical colleges, or universities

  • Students can earn weekly stipends throughout the course

Athletics
This Seasons Boys Weightlifting Team had an outstanding year. The team Place 2nd in District, placed 3rd in Metro and sent 5 lifters to state. Garrett Davis medal with a 5th place finish. Lake Nona also got gold when Sean Acevedo finish number one in his weight class in state. The team also finish their season with a 3-1 record.
Spring Football Recap

Spring football started April 26. The team has been grinding every day for the last 2 weeks getting ready for our spring game against Timber Creek on Thursday May 13. The team has been learning and executing plays that will help us in the Fall when the regular season starts as well. The athletes have been giving it their all for the last weeks of practice and look forward to seeing everyone at Timber Creek for their Spring game on Thursday May 13.
