amplifyHERscience Board Member, Ranjit Bindra named 2022 BioCT Entrepreneur of the Year by BioCT

Dr. Bindra (pictured left with amplifyHERscience co-founder, Morag Grassie) has focused his career on the discovery, translation, and development of novel therapeutics for patients with cancer. He has founded and/or co-founded several companies, including Alphina Therapeutics, Cybrexa Therapeutics, and Modifi Bio.  

Ranjit is a tireless advocate for women and underrepresented innovators. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!

The 2022 Yale Life Science Pitchfest held on December 8 featured 31 Yale faculty innovators presenting breakthrough research projects in therapeutics, medical devices, and digital health to a crowd of over 325 people from 120+ companies, including 14 industry judges. 

Congratulations to this year's winners: Anthony Koleske, Kevan Herold, Farida Ahangari, Anton Bennett, Ruslan Medzhitov, Ian Odell, Peter Glazer / Nicholas Economos, Rohan Khera.

Repro Grants is a “fast grants” program that awards $25K-$100K to ambitious research projects aiming to deepen our understanding of the female reproductive system.

The application form takes around 30 minutes to complete. A decision will be given within 21 days of applying. If you get approved, you’ll receive the wire as quickly as your institution can receive it. 

Due to additional applicant interest, we are pleased to announce that the application deadline has been extended until December 18th, 2022 at 11:59 ET!

The National Institute on Aging (NIA) Small Business Program is accepting applications for Diversity Supplements, which are administrative funds (up to $250,000 in direct costs) to enhance the research and entrepreneurial workforce's diversity by recruiting and supporting students, post-docs, and eligible investigators from underrepresented groups in health-related research into the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR)programs.
