Dear Bet Torah Family:

Living through a pandemic would be complicated enough but there are painful and important conversations going on in our country about  racism as well.

Loen Amer and I wanted to spend time thinking this moment through with our teens with the support of an expert speaker, around Tisha B'Av, the most important day of mourning in the Jewish calendar.
We invite teens in the classes of 2025-2020
(rising 8th graders - college first years) to join us for a two-part discussion:
on Wednesday and Thursday, July 29-30, 6:00-7:00 p.m.,

We are fortunate to be learning from  Shekhiynah Larks  of  Be'chol Lashon Shekhiynah Larks  is the program coordinator and a diversity trainer at  Be'chol Lashon . Read some of her recent articles

Be'chol Lashon , Hebrew for "in every language," strengthens Jewish identity by raising awareness about the ethnic, racial and cultural diversity of Jewish people and experience around the globe.
