>>> Students Must be Supervised! <<<
School policy states that any student staying after school must have a supervisor from the time school gets out until their parents arrive or they leave campus. If this is not in place before school gets out, the student must go home and return later.
Starting today, Monday, 11/28/2022 through Thursday, 12/15/2022 MS/HS Guide Groups will be competing in a Holiday Food Drive.

Bring in any nonperishable foods. Holiday foods like green beans, cranberry sauce, stuffing, cornbread, and gravy are preferred, but all nonperishable foods will be accepted. Each food item collected will be counted, and the class that brings in the most will win spirit points for Quarter 2.

Students Eat for Free!
MRCS is on a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This allows all of our students from Pre-K through 12th grade to eat Breakfast and Lunch for free!
MRCS is also participating in Breakfast After The Bell using the Grab and Go option. Increasing school breakfast participation can alleviate childhood hunger, improve nutrition, and ensure children have a healthy start to their day. Follow this link to learn more.
C.A.T.C.H Tip of the Month
Keep Trying New Foods

Research shows that most babies and young children need to try something new seven to ten times before they like it. So don’t be afraid to introduce children to new or more exotic tastes.
A good tactic to get kids to eat a wide variety of foods is to tell them that tasting new things is a sign they’re growing up. Or, take them shopping and let them choose a new, healthy food to serve at home with something they already like.

MRCS encourages students to be present to meet or exceed the state standard of 90% of students attending 92% of the time.

If your student has an upcoming absence or is ill, please call or email your building office by 8:30 am. Both have answering machines, call at any hour!

Student-Athletes and Parent/Guardians! Please review our Student Body Handbook and Athletic Contract to stay eligible to play.
Elementary (grades K-6): Please contact your student's teacher for any inquiries about their academics. Also, make sure to attend Parent/Teacher conferences for a 1:1 meeting with your student's teacher.

Middle/High (grades 7-12): Progress Reports are run on weeks 3, 5, 7, and 9 of each quarter and will be emailed and mailed out.** If you want to receive the emailed version of Progress Reports ONLY, please let the office know.

Middle School Athletes in grades 5 and 6:
These Progress Report dates apply to these student-athletes as well. The Athletic Secretary and/or Athletic Director will check in with these teachers to make sure student-athletes are up to date with their work and are upholding the Athletic Contract.
Lost & Found
Please call or email the elementary office to claim an item.
Does your child have a water bottle?

Please make sure your child has a metal or plastic water bottle that they can leave at school.
>>>>> Help us help our school! <<<<<
The SchoolStore fundraiser is 100% online so there is NO face-to-face selling, handling money, or delivering products.

Your participation will take less than 12 minutes, and there are exciting prizes to make it fun for the students.

Your participation will make a difference for our school and teachers! Click here to check it out.
