The Friends Ministry Training (FMT) program is a partnership with Barclay College that allows for pastors to get continuing education for the recording process, and it is a great way for anyone else to learn as well. Note the above chart for the classes that are upcoming, their start dates, and how many are taught by leaders within IYM. Contact Damon Seacott if you would like to sign up for a class for credit or to audit.
From the Advancement Committee: We are grateful for IYM Sunday, and how our churches celebrated our faith community. THANK YOU for giving toward the 2022 Budget. We are moving forward! Here are the current totals:
$56,794.10 Cash Already Received
3,000.00 Pledges still to be paid
$59,794.10
Let's keep at it! We need to reach our goal so the 2022 budget will be fully funded and all that we do will flourish, influence, and support in marvelous ways.
From Christian Service: We hope your church continues to find ways to impact your community, even in these unusual times. Below are addresses of four churches in Indiana with a variety of ministries. Please review what's happening at these churches, and let us know if you would like to explore any of them. We can work with the churches to do a webinar with IYM folks and to see if any of our churches can explore these ministries in local areas.
Contact damon at dseacott@gmail.com or call 517-204-5348 if our Christian Service Committee can get something going for you.

The White’s Residential and Family Services annual Golf Scramble will be Monday, June 14, at Etna Acres in Andrews Indiana. Please consider joining them to help raise funds to renovate another of their outdoor basketball courts to provide more students with a safe place to play outside. If you have had the opportunity to come to the Wabash campus, you would have seen last year's renovations to the basketball court on the north side of the drive as you make your way down to 50E café and Garden Center. This year they will do the same upgrade for Cottage 3.
For more information about the event and how to sign up individually or as a team, you can Click Here to sign up then scroll down about midway on the page to find the "Event Information:" section to select your sponsorship and or register a team to play. Or contact Dana Brady directly with your questions, 260-563 -158, ex 1348, or dana.brady@whitesrfs.org.
Also, White's has a shortage of houseparents for residentially-based treatment. They are seeking 15 mission-fitting Christians who want to make a difference in the lives of teens that need their love, care, and spiritual support. These 15 individuals would serve in the role of houseparent (also known as "Family Teacher," which is the new title they will be using for these positions shortly). The work of a Houseparent / Family Teacher has consistently been described as "life-giving" and "deeply satisfying" - this unique opportunity calls for a resilient and humble heart. They are praying that God calls 15 of His followers to White's quickly so they can reach more kids in need!

Gary Wright, former Friends pastor and CEO of World Renewal International, has written a book, "He Just Showed Up!" In this book, Gary gives a Biblical and historical framework for God's outpourings - his personal stories about supernatural seasons of revival as a boy, as a student at Asbury College during God's outpouring in 1970, and in subsequent times during his ministry. He also gives wise counsel for those who want to see God move powerfully in their life, in their church, and in their community. For more information you may contact Gary at World Renewal, PO Box 399, Greenfield, IN 46140, 317-467-9899, or gwright@worldrenewal.org.

As Paul is winding up his letter to the Colossians, he reminds the people there to “devote yourselves to prayer.” Colossians 4:2
We have been prompting you to pray for what many in IYM feel is a coming Multiplication Movement among us through these Commun-icator newsletters. We initially set the goal to have prayer prompts come out leading up to the scheduled IYM Sunday, April 25. Well, here we are in May, and I am still feeling the call to be devoted to prayer.
I feel there is some movement with Multiplication, and we still need to pray for that. I also feel that we need to pray for some other things as well. Can we pray for God to lead us when it comes to world Missions and Missions partners? Can we pray for our pastors and other leaders as they discern God’s will and bring energy and vision to our churches? Can we pray against the seemingly small things that can enter into our hearts and minds and bring division? Can we pray for our young people that God would show us how to raise them up and hand over the keys in the appropriate ways? Can we devote ourselves to prayer?
Father, as we devote ourselves to prayer, we devote ourselves to You. Would you continue to show us the Way? Would you help us to see the world through Your eyes? Would you lead us and guide us? In Christ’s name we pray…Amen!
--Pat Byers
