STAFF HIGHLIGHT!

My name is Kris Nelson and I have been with JCPRD for 6 years. I’m originally from Bloomington, MN. I graduated from Anoka Technical College in 1999 with a degree in Turf Sciences. I came to the Kansas City area right after graduation for a position as a golf course superintendent, met my wife, and decided to settle down in Overland Park.

My wife, Emily, and I have two kids: Logan is 15 years old and a freshman in high school while Ella is 11 years old and a 6th grader. We love traveling, spending time at Table Rock Lake, attending our kids’ sporting events, and cheering on the Kansas State Wildcats and NDSU Bison.
