One of LEDC’s main focuses is to create an environment where, entrepreneurs and small business can not only grow but flourish. With small businesses making up over half of Spencer County’s economy the need to support our entrepreneurs is greater than ever.

“Providing resources to Spencer County businesses is of great importance to the LEDC board and staff. Overall, Spencer County has fared well through the pandemic, but is important to LEDC to keep up to date with opportunities in case another disaster is to hit.”- Valerie Schmidt, Executive Director, LEDC
