PARISH NEWS

Last week, our 2nd graders celebrated the Rite of Enrollment for Holy Communion at our parishes. Check out some of the photos from the St. Pius X Facebook page (posting is listed on February 16, 2022).

Pope Francis wants to hear from ALL the baptized about their experience of the Church and how the Church can share the message of God’s love for the next millennium. Monday, February 28 is the last day to access the Omaha Archdiocese’s online questionnaire to participate in the Pope’s Synod. Please consider spending 10 minutes to share your experiences and hopes for the Church. In-person listening sessions for the parish are scheduled in March. Sign up here.

SPSL will host the Scholastic Book Fair from March 27 to April 1. Please contact Kim Ramsey at kim.ramsey@spsl.net if you would like to volunteer. We will also have a Family Night at the Book Fair on Tuesday, March 29 with the Carson's Cookie Fix cookie truck from 5:00-7:00 pm. More information on the Book Fair will be coming soon.
HANDWRITING CAMPS

Our partnership with Creighton's Occupational Therapy students continues this spring. We are blessed to have Creighton OT students working with several classes in Pre-K through 4th Grade with Handwriting Camps. The camps consist of virtual and/or in person support. We also have a Creighton Occupational Therapy Doctoral Student, Miss Blum, completing her final capstone project at SPSL. If you want any OT support for your child in the next couple of months, please reach out to Mrs. Sluyter (rebecca.sluyter@spsl.net). We are grateful to have this partnership.
