Greetings! Early November brings fallen leaves and crisp, sunny days still perfect for spending time outside. A huge shout out to the Mountain Landscaping crew for building a sturdy base for the stone table in our Outdoor Reading Area in time to enjoy the lovely fall weather! Many thanks to John Styk, who got the project rolling and then donated beautiful chairs to complete the setup. What a peaceful place to enjoy a book, a snack, and a bit of nature.

Reminder: The Library is a Ballot Drop Box location for elections. The box is located inside the Library near the front desk. There is a handicap entrance at the rear of the building. The General Election is Tuesday, Nov. 8; the Library closes at 5pm that day so be sure to drop off your ballot before that time. Get all the election info you need on vote.pa.gov and Monroe County's voting information page.

Exciting news! Our computer area is getting a facelift! Thanks to a generous grant from the R. Dale and Frances M. Hughes Foundation, we are replacing the tables and chairs that have been in use since the Library was in its former location. Please pardon our appearance the week of Nov 7-11. We will set up temporary computer stations during the transition so there will be no disruption to computer availability.

Planning is underway for our annual Basket Raffle! Beautiful gift baskets will be on display in the Library from Nov. 21-Dec. 10; raffle tickets can be purchased at the Library throughout that time. You will also be able to view the baskets and enter online. The drawing will be held on Dec. 10. Stay tuned for all the details!

Thanksgiving is almost here! The Library will close at 5pm on Wed, Nov 23 and will be closed all day Thu, Nov 24 in observance of the holiday.

November is a cornucopia of awesome Library activities!
