RE: NEW PENNSYLVANIA COVID-19 MITIGATION ORDERS
On July 15, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf and Secretary of Health Rachel Levine signed new statewide orders to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. These took effect at 12:01 AM today, July 16.
The full orders are available at the links below:
Some of the most pertinent changes include:
- Indoor events and gatherings of more than 25 persons are prohibited (including staff).
- Outdoor events and gatherings of more than 250 persons are prohibited (including staff).
- Unless not possible, businesses must conduct operations in whole or in part remotely. When telework is not possible, employees may conduct in-person business operations if the business complies with all PA Governor, Department of Health, and CDC guidelines.
- Enforcement begins immediately. Businesses and individuals in violation of the Orders could be subject to fines, business closure, or "other applicable enforcement measures."
Please review the complete orders to ensure your company's continued legal compliance.
