Stallions in the Spotlight

Junior Richael Saka was selected to be a part of the Columbus Youth Council. Students in this program will have the opportunity to learn about city government, and how they can become stewards in their community.

Congratulations to SFD seniors Lauren Afrifa and Sumon Estifanos who were named 2021-22 scholars in the National African American Recognition Program through the College Board.

Congratulations to senior Victoria Asiedu who was awarded a $500 scholarship by Ernst & Young in recognition of her achievements and participation in the Accounting Careers Awareness Summer Program, a joint initiative of the Ohio Society of CPAs and The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business.

ACT Opportunity for Juniors and Seniors

DeSales will be offering the ACT (without writing) to interested juniors and seniors this fall. Testing will take place on the morning of Tuesday, October 5th. Space is limited. To register, please submit the form below no later than September 14th. The fee for this testing session is $45. This can be paid by cash or check (payable to St. Francis DeSales) to Mrs. Lisa Hoyer in the Student Services Center.

Financial Aid 101 Presentation

When: September 14 at 7pm via Zoom

Theresa Popelar and Cody McMillen from the University of Dayton will share their expertise on the financial aid process. They will touch on the following topics: types of financial aid, determining financial need and aid, net price calculator, applying for need based aid/Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and more!

Homecoming Dance Reminders

A few items to note as we get ready for our Homecoming Dance this Saturday night:

Gates open at 6:30pm - You will enter through the gates of Alumni Stadium
Please bring your ticket or take a photo of your ticket number - this will help check in go quicker.
The dance ends at 9:30pm. Students will not be permitted to leave prior to 9:00pm.
We encourage all students to wear tennis shoes - so comfortable and easy to dance in! If you do not wear tennis shoes, please remember there are NO SPIKE HEELS allowed on the turf.
Dance tickets will not be sold tomorrow (Wednesday), but will be sold for the final day on Thursday during lunch periods.
This dance is for SFD students only.

Over the past decade, the annual Friends in the Courtyard Wine Tasting and Auction has become one of the school’s most anticipated and popular fall events. This event has grown to one of the largest fundraising events for the school and has raised over $500,000 for the students and their co-curricular programs.

Join us to taste the finest wines around the world from multiple wine distributors plus local breweries and an Italian feast catered by Carfagna's! Registration and event details coming soon.

Interested in giving the gift of a varsity letter jacket to a student for Christmas? For the best chance of receiving your jacket by Christmas, orders should be made before November 1, 2021.
