2022-2023 School Year Calendar

ACS NEWS & ENROLLMENT INFORMATION

Foundation Dinner: Now, More Than Ever. That phrase is used to describe how desperately we need Jesus Christ. Now, More Than Ever- the theme of this year’s Foundation Dinner, also describes the absolute necessity of Christian schools and their impact in the lives of children.

Come, and participate with the Allendale Christian School community at this year’s Foundation Dinner. Hear from this year’s speaker Dan Landstra, Director of Spiritual Life and Leadership at Unity Christian High School, as he speaks on “Why Now?”- The front row story behind the essential need for Christian education in 2022.

  • Thursday, November 10 hosted here at Allendale Christian School from 6:00-8:30 (6:00-6:30 punch bowl)
  • Meal provided by Johnny B’s BBQ
  • Use the link below for more information and to sign up to attend! All are welcome to join the ACS family in hearing “Why Now,” and impacting the lives of students Now, More Than Than Ever.

This year the ACS Thanksgiving Chapel Committee would like to invite you to help us collect snack items for Starlight Ministries. "Starlight Ministries is a Christ centered ministry that provides opportunities for those who are grieving a death loss to experience a safe environment of caring support that promotes healing and inspires Hope for the future."

We would like to collect the following items- individually packaged snacks (crackers, fruit snacks, chips, etc...) and/or juice boxes. Donations can be brought to the donation table in the rotunda until Tuesday, November 22nd.

Inclement Weather - In the case of inclement weather, families of Young Fives through 8th grade students should be receiving a call from Allendale Public School if school will be delayed or cancelled. If you do not receive a call when that time comes, please let the office know. Delays and cancellations will also be posted on WoodTV8, as well as the ACS Facebook page.

Pick-up Reminders - Please remember to have your name sign clearly visible at all times during pick-up until your child is in your vehicle. If you have lost your sign or need another printed, please let the office know. Also, for the safety of our students and staff, please refrain from talking on your phone during pick-up, if at all possible. Thank you!

The ACS Apparel Sale is happening now until November 25th! All orders will be produced once the sale closes and will be delivered to school within 2-3 weeks from that date. Go HERE to check out the awesome items available and to place your order!

Middle School Boys Swim Interest Survey - Unity Christian is continuing to explore the possibility of options for boy’s swimmers at the high school level (currently we don’t have our own program or a cooperative program in place). We are also continuing to explore what interest and options are available at the middle school level. Knowing how many middle schoolers are interested will help us figure out the appropriate high school option and possibly provide some opportunities for middle schoolers to swim on a Unity Christian team. Please complete the following form if your son would be interested in swimming on a Unity Christian middle school team in January and February of this school year. If we have enough interest, we will explore adding a middle school boys swimming team, with the next steps involving finding pool time, coaches, and meets. Please complete the interest form by November 10: https://www.cognitoforms.com/UnityChristianHighSchool/UnityChristianMiddleSchoolBoysSwimInterest
