Toys for Tots Collection

All Saints Catholic School will be participating in a “Toys for Tots” collection. New unwrapped toys for infants through age 14 are needed for those less fortunate this holiday season. Bins will be in the school foyer until December 12. Your generosity is appreciated.

Next Parenting Workshop: Dec. 14

Join our free upcoming parenting educational event with Social-Emotional Learning Consultant, Lorena Seidel, on December 14 at 7:00 PM in the school theater.

The evening’s topic will be:” Be Kind & Firm At The Same Time- All The Time!” Tune into your confidence and “parenting resolve” to put an end to permissive and punitive (being a pushover or yelling) practices. Stop inconsistency, mixed messages, and discipline differences between parents/caregivers. Set sustainable and realistic guidelines, limits, consequences, and expectations and master the art of successful follow through.

Career Day is Returning

We are planning a career day for Tuesday, April 18, 2023 for our middle school students.

Several years ago, ASCS held a career fair where students were able to explore a variety of career options. Students directed their questions to parent professionals with curiosity and enthusiasm and presented their findings to their class.

In order to accomplish our goal, we need parent volunteers to come in and address the students' questions about their careers.

If you would like to participate, please fill out the form which can be found here.

Please fill out the form by Friday, January 6 if you are able to participate

If you have any questions, please contact either Mrs. Roseann Corrente or Mr. John Mezzacappa.

Next Week Reminders

Friday, December 9 and Monday, December 12 are dress-down fundraiser days. $2 at the door. (Except for PK and Kindergarten who have their holiday concert on Friday.)

Thursday, December 15, is an EARLY DISMISSAL DAY for Teacher-In-Service for the school accreditation. There is NO Extended Day Program. Please mark your calendar and be on time for pick-up.

Saintly Whispers

“Today the Church is celebrating the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. If Christ is the day that never fades, Mary is its dawn, shining with beauty. Chosen in advance to be the Mother of the Incarnate Word, Mary is at the same time the first-fruits of his redeeming action. The grace of Christ the Redeemer acted in her in anticipation, preserving her from original sin and from any contagion of guilt.” St. John Paul II
