Pirate Golf Tournament
The IFMA Golf Tournament at Harbour Pointe Golf Club on Wednesday the 9th of September was a great success. Thank you to all the sponsors and golfers who showed up and dressed up to golf and support the “Pirate” theme. Despite the COVID-19 restrictions and mandates, we managed to have over 100 golfers on the course at staggered T-Times. A beautiful day was had by all on one of the most picturesque courses in the Pacific Northwest. Harbour Pointe Golf Club did a wonderful job of supporting the tournament and providing us with excellent customer service. Because of this, we anticipate coming back in 2021 and keeping the theme the same, “Pirates”.

World Workplace Now Virtual
Hello, IFMA Component Leaders!

We have some exciting news to share — IFMA’s World Workplace 2020 Conference and Expo will be delivered as a virtual event this Dec. 9-10!

After evaluating a variety of new and ongoing factors, especially corporate travel restrictions, we determined that the most effective way to bring World Workplace to all stakeholders is by pivoting to a virtual platform.

We’re collaborating with exhibitors and speakers to build an exceptional two-day program comparable in educational and networking value to our flagship event. We intend to provide an affordable, full conference experience in a format that’s not only familiar, but for many, preferable during the pandemic.

We will keep you updated on the latest developments as plans unfold. Pricing and program details will be made available soon at worldworkplace.ifma.org. Please help us get the word out to members so that we can bring as many colleagues and friends together as possible to discuss current challenges and build the future of our industry.
While we will miss the in-person connections made at our live event, going virtual opens the opportunity for far greater global attendance. Thank you for your ongoing support. We look forward to seeing you virtually this December!

Best,
Ann Loayza, CMP

Commercial Window Upgrade Opportunity
For a limited time, buildings owners who upgrade their low-performing single or double pane windows with [betterbricks.com/solutions/windows/secondary-windows]secondary windows can receive an incentive of up to $10,000 by participating in a field test run by Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA), in partnership with local utilities. In addition to this incentive, owners will receive special pricing from the six participating manufacturers, 15-30% off the material cost depending on the manufacturer. Additional participant benefits may include incentives, professional photography and marketing, and technical support from NEEA. If you’re looking to improve your envelope, increase tenant comfort, and reduce outside noise and air infiltration, this is a great opportunity to leverage technical support and product discounts, while the building is empty or partially empty.

To see if your office or hospitality building qualifies for the field test or to learn more, email Jordan Pratt from Energy 350 at jpratt@energy350.com
