Celebrate Sunday Mass at St. Alphonsus!

In this Sunday's gospel, we hear the story of Jesus' Transfiguration. Jesus' prediction about his Passion encourages us to examine the Transfiguration in the larger context of the Paschal Mystery.

Although we are constantly praying for peace, especially with the current state of turmoil in Ukraine, we should remember that we are called to be generous. Generosity is also lighthearted. Make a loved one in your life laugh this week! Humor plays a vital role in our flourishing and is good for the heart, mind, body and soul.

Please note this weekend is Daylight Savings Time. Clocks will be moved forward 1 hour starting Sunday at 2 AM.

Daily prayer keeps you in good relationship with the LORD, and yourself.
Invite your friends/loved ones to Mass! Sunday Mass schedule in English is at 9 AM, 11 AM, and 5 PM. Mass in Spanish is at 12:30 PM.

Friday evenings during Lent in the Church, the Divine Mercy Chaplet will be prayed at 6:30 PM, followed by Stations of the Cross at 7 PM.

"Open Gym" Saturday Morning Kid's Play Time
Due to a Renew My Church meeting in the Festival Hall, this Saturday the children's playgroup will be meeting in the parish gym this week from 8:30 to 10:30 AM.
For questions, please contact Monica Cloghessy.

Men of the parish are invited to Communio, a men’s group that gathers each Wednesday evening from 8 – 9 PM in the Rectory to pray and chant Vespers (evening prayer), followed by a time of conversation and fellowship.

St. Alphonsus Men’s group meets Thursday nights to pray the liturgy of the hours, have fellowship, and to propose challenging topics to discuss. We meet every Thursday night at 7 PM in the rectory. Food and drinks provided. All men are welcome, with most men being in their 20s and 30s. Access can be gained at the west facing rectory door in the parking lot. For questions or more information contact Matt Duff.

The love between two people is a gift from God. Assist those getting married in their special day! St. Alphonsus is looking to expand our Wedding Coordinator ministry. There is very little training involved and coordinators receive a stipend per wedding. For more information, please contact Sacraments coordinator, Kaitlin Holyk.
