Night of Worship - Join us on Friday, October 9, at 7 p.m. for a powerful Night of Worship called “Let Praises Ring.” We’ll be declaring the authority of our King and remembering to shine our light beyond the four walls of our churches and homes into the darkness around us. Childcare will not be provided, but feel free to bring your children to praise God with us!
Additional Sunday Morning Option – Our Oasis Services at 9 and 11 a.m. are specifically designed for those who prefer an environment with mandatory masks, social distancing, and a touch-free environment. If you wish to join this service environment, please enter at the Gym Entrance.

Sunday Morning Services - We will continue to stream both services through the Petra App, Facebook, YouTube, and our website at www.petra.church/live. To listen to the service over the phone, dial 717-481-4068.
A Time To Honor - This fall, as we prepare for a transition of senior leadership, we want to take time to honor and celebrate Pastors Lester and Erma for their 38 years of ministry. At a special event on Saturday evening, November 7, we will be presenting Pastors Lester and Erma with an Album of Honor and a Video of Honor.

Here’s how you can express your love and appreciation:

Album – Prepare a card of appreciation. Return the card you picked up from the East or West Hub, create your own card, or prepare your wording and submit it online here. The deadline for submission is this Sunday, September 27.

Video – Record your words with a camera or phone (held horizontally) and return it to Ron Esh at rone@petra.church by this Sunday, September 27. Please keep the length to a minute or less. If you prefer, we can do the filming here at Petra this Sunday; three time slots remain open. Sign up here.
Eastgate House of Prayer
Wholehearted: A School of Worship & Prayer - Prayer is vital for a flourishing relationship with God, yet many of us find it difficult to maintain an active prayer life. Join us this Tuesday at 7 p.m. as Kara Sensenig hones in on the keys to establishing enjoyable and sustainable prayer that not only affects our lives but overflows into our communities and the nations. We will look at the life of David, one of the greatest reformers of all time, who knew the importance of gazing on God’s beauty. Childcare is provided through age 7. Please register your children with our Childcare Coordinator, Andrea Michener, at ajm7772930@yahoo.com. All are welcome!
Petra Prayer
We stand at a pivotal moment in American and world history. Join us in the Sanctuary this Saturday, September 26, as Petra hosts a live simulcast of The Return, a national and global day of prayer and repentance. The times are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with breaks for lunch and supper. You'll be able to come and go as you wish. The live event will take place on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. If you’re unable to attend the simulcast in person, you may watch it via livestream here.
Prayer March - Also in Washington, D.C. this Saturday, from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Franklin Graham will be leading a Prayer March. The focus is solely on asking God to heal our land. It will be livestreamed here.

Saturday Night Prayer – Because of The Return simulcast this Saturday, our usual Saturday Night Prayer has been cancelled. Please note that, beginning next Saturday, October 3, we will once again be meeting in the Sanctuary for our 8-9 p.m. prayer time. We will have plenty of room to social distance. Those who would like to join us via Zoom will still have that option; you can join by clicking on the provided weekly link as you have been doing the past few months.
