The Workforce Center of Will County now offers services virtually!
 
 
All of our job search workshops are held via Facebook Live and can be found by visiting the Workforce Center of Will County Facebook page. According to Pam Rodriguez, Career Planner at the Workforce Center: “In-person interviews may be a thing of the past, so let us help you become familiar with Mock Online Interviewing. Don’t be unprepared when you finally get that interview scheduled, and find out that it will be conducted virtually. We can help you practice!”. You can request an appointment for a Mock Online Interview, career coaching, or have your resume reviewed by emailing us at careerservices@jobs4people.org. Our website is open 24/7 where you can always take advantage of our Resume Gallery and Job Board to assist you in your job search. 2020 Illinois Workforce Partnership
LWA 10 Individual Achievement Award Recipient
Thomas participated in the WIOA Connect to Your Future (CYF) youth program at Workforce Services Division of Will County. After obtaining his GED in a very short time, he was excited to continue his education with the help of the CYF program.

Thomas enrolled in Joliet Junior College, first obtaining his CNA certificate and then enrolling in the Registered Nursing Program. In May 2020 through hard work and dedication, he earned his AAS degree in Nursing. He accepted a position as a Registered Nurse at Silver Cross Hospital and is making over $25/hr.

To honor his achievements, Thomas was the recipient of the Individual Achievement Award issued by the Illinois Workforce Partnership. Congratulations!
