Why a Canadian Safari Should be on Your Travel List
Ah, 2020, you've been tough! Words like 'unprecedented' and 'new normal' have earned their place in the dictionary.
After 6 months of constant, sometimes overwhelming change, we could all use a break!

I’m here to tell you that you can enjoy an awesome adventure in Canada's wide-open spaces and disconnect from the uncertainty of it all.
NEW: Hosted Spirit Bear Safari - Fall 2021
The Great Bear Rainforest on the Pacific coast of British Columbia is the largest coastal temperate rainforest on earth. It is here that the Kermode Bear aka Spirit Bear can be found - one of the rarest animals in the world.

Join me on our 8 day small group* Safari
- IN SEARCH OF THE ELUSIVE SPIRIT BEAR -
hosted by yours truly.

Leave the world behind and re-connect with nature on our SPIRIT BEAR SAFARI.
This rainforest is home to much more than the iconic bears. Minks, river otters, weasels, wolverines, deer, and many other species all play an important role in this interconnected ecosystem.
Birders can delight in spotting bald eagles, marbled murrelets, water ouzels, loons, various ducks, several gull species and many more.
Stand in awe under massive old growth trees, marvel at the variation in mosses, lichens, and numerous unique plant species.

By joining this exclusive safari you will not only have a once-in-a-lifetim wildlife experience, but also support local conservation organizations and community based stewardship efforts.

* This Safari is limited to 5 participants. If you want to join me, make sure to reserve your spot today!
May I ask - what's on your Travel Wish List?
Would you like to take your 'bubble' on a small group safari into the Canadian wilderness?

Are you a single traveller, looking to join a group of people with similar interests?

No matter how and with whom you travel, I have some interesting ideas for you...

  • Perhaps you've always wanted to see the Polar Bears in Manitoba?
  • Or the Caribou Migration in Nunavut?
  • Or the Aurora Borealis?
  • Could it be a private expedition cruise with your friends or family aboard a sailing ship, catamaran or even an 88' tugboat, including a chef and naturalist guide?
  • How about a journey from Whitehorse all the way to Tuktoyaktuk?
  • Or a multi-day kayak trip to see Orcas and Humpback whales?
  • Or … ?

Nothing makes me happier than bringing the wonderful wilderness alive for you, so if there's any way I can do that - let me know.

Please hit the 'REPLY' button and tell me what's on your Canadian Bucket List. I'd be utterly delighted to hear from you!
Travel with Confidence in turbulent times:
For years, travellers from far and wide have come to the Canadian wilderness to unwind and reconnect to the stillness of nature in our own country. Now that these iconic wildlife areas are devoid of their usual international visitors, it's the ideal time to get out and explore the diverse wildlife in our own back yard. It’s your turn now!

Here's why you can plan with confidence:

The accommodation in our specially selected lodges is well spaced out and private. The only peeking neighbour you may have is a bear ambling through the grounds, grazing on a berry bush, or a bald eagle soaring overhead.

Strict health protocols are in place. Guest numbers have been reduced and teams have received intensive training on correct cleaning procedures to prevent virus transmission.
No matter where you go on our Safaris, the environment is your playground. Wildlife excursions are open-air activities and therefore considered low risk. Of course we will adhere to all standard preventive measures, including the donning of masks where distancing is not possible.

The sense of place you feel in Canada's remote areas is unparalleled.
We all know that nature is good for the body and soul! And now, more than ever, we want something to look forward to!
Our flexible booking terms allow you to start planning a rejuvenating journey with confidence.
I'm going on Safari!
Our SOLD OUT small group Grizzly Bear Photo Safari takes off from Vancouver very soon - with me onboard!

Seeing Grizzlies in their natural habitat has been on my bucket list every since I moved to B.C. in the 90ties, and now that my international wings are clipped, I get to fulfill this dream.

Although I will be offline during this trip, I will be sharing my stories and photos with you when I return. Until then, stay well and take good care.

Yours in Travel,

Christine Boecker
