Community Partner Highlight: Harvest on Vine

We are so grateful for our partners and could not do this work without them. This month we want to highlight Harvest on Vine.

From Tom MacDonald: "Harvest on Vine emergency food pantry is a ministry of St. Mary-St. Catherine Parish in Charlestown. We have been providing groceries to needy families since 2003. Harvest on Vine hosts two food distributions a month, giving families about a week's worth of food each time. Today we have more than 600 families on our database. On Thanksgiving, we distributed 575 turkey baskets with the works: pies, rolls, stuffing, milk, rice, potatoes, carrots, squash, onions. Each year we distribute roughly 300,000 pounds of food to the neighborhood. The generous Charlestown community makes this possible. We are are grateful to the Charlestown people."
