Dear Parents:

It's a challenging time to be a parent. Living through a pandemic would be complicated enough but there are painful and important conversations going on in our country about racism as well.

Loen Amer and I wanted to spend time thinking this moment through with you and address some questions.

How do I talk to my kids about racism?

How do I help them understand the relationship between what they see in the news and their own interactions with peers and neighbors in our community?

How do we create communal space for our kids to make mistakes, learn and grow?

What can we bring to the table as Jews from our historical experiences and our textual/values toolbox?

Join us next Thursday June 25h night at 8pm click here for the Zoom meeting .

I look forward to being with you and sharing thoughts.

Shabbat Shalom,

Aaron
