August is off to a strong start as we close out the summer months and head into a busy fall season! The second round of our Ready! Set! Launch! 12-week Small Business Training Curriculum starts later this month with all three locations at full capacity. Special thanks to Rung For Women, the Helix Center, and our Urban League home team at the Ferguson Community Empowerment Center for hosting us for these in-person classes. We are so excited to welcome this new cohort of rising entrepreneurs. If did not get a chance to join us for Ready! Set! Launch! this round, reach out to us at cackiss@urbanleague-stl.org to be added to our waiting list for Spring 2022.
Industry-Specific Initiatives will also be starting again in August and September, starting with an Industry-Specific Lunch & Learn special, focused on Cosmetology with our very own WBC Alum, Tendai Morris of Healthy Hair Solutions.
