Roslyn Public Schools
SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
Dear Parents/Guardians,

We understand that there are varying levels of comfort around children returning to our school buildings for in-person learning in September. Therefore, should the Governor's guidance in August with regards to reopening schools, allow in-person education to resume for all students and also allow for the District option to offer remote (online) instruction learning, the Roslyn School District would like to offer every student the option of receiving an entire year of remote (online) instructional learning.  Full-time remote students will continue to learn the same or similar content. Implementation may vary from grade to grade within a set of clear guidelines and will be designed to meet the needs of our students.

In order for us to plan appropriately for purposes of social distancing in our classroom facilities as well as programmatic staffing, please be advised that if you select the remote learning option, there may be limited or no opportunity to thereafter option into a school building during the 2020-21 school year. Requests to go from remote learning to classroom learning may be submitted to the District.  We will attempt to accommodate such requests, but be advised that accommodations, if available, will be implemented, at best, at the start of the following school semester.    If circumstances change, we would let you know immediately.

If this is your preference and you would like to select this option for remote learning, please click on the link below to complete and submit the form provided.  You must fill out one form per child. Forms must be submitted not later than Tuesday, August 4th, 2020.
