Eid-al-Adha (Tuesday, July 20, 2021) prayer schedule

As announced last week, MAPS will celebrate Eid-Al-Adha on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. The day of Arafah is Monday, July 19, 2021.
 
Special Program and Iftar on the day of Arafah:
We have arranged for a special program with our beloved Imam Joban and guest Khateeb, Imam Azhar Subedar, on the day of Arafah.
As a reminder, masks are required while on MAPS premises. All other COVID related restrictions are lifted. Registration is not required for Eid prayers.
Eid Parking Information:

  • General parking is in Marymoor Park parking lot. If you plan on walking from the parking lot, please allow yourself ample time to reach MAPS.

  •  We have arranged for shuttles from Marymoor Park parking lot. We will also have valet parking in the front lot of MAPS.

  • Parking for elderly and disabled will be in the front parking lot of MAPS.

  • Microsoft employees can park their registered cars in Microsoft building across the street. Any cars which are not registered with Microsoft are subject to towing.

  • There is ongoing construction on the corner of NE 70th ST and 176th AVE NE (near Whole Foods, Chevron). Please enter / exit from E Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE side to avoid traffic stops and delay.

  • Please follow volunteer instructions for parking, entry and exit for smooth traffic flow and safety.

  • Note there is NO PARKING in areas marked with RED BOXES.
Imam Azhar Subedar Bio:

Imam Azhar Subedar was born and raised in the West. He was also educated on the Religion of Islam in the West. He graduated from his 10-year studies of Islam in the U.K.
 
Being a Religious Scholar with a Master's in Islamic Sciences and Arabic Literature, Imam Azhar’s vision is to address the current needs of the Muslim community by bringing relevancy to the Holy text while confronting the social issues of today’s world from a moral perspective.
 
Imam Azhar has been serving the needs of Muslim communities across the United States of America, Florida and beyond, since 2002. He is the First Muslim to give the opening prayer at the Florida State Capitol, Florida Senate. He delivered the opening prayer at the House of Representatives as well– Tallahassee, Florida.
 
Imam Azhar is also the founder of the Quran Trek® app. The first of its kind practical spiritual coaching program. Quran Trek® takes you on a guided tour through the Quran with a personalized experience and a unique, playful presentation. It guides you in exploring the foundation and tools for spiritual and material well-being.
