Winter 2022

Looking ahead

It is hard to believe that another year has passed - and so quickly!

In the last year, the College has seen the hard work responding to six new pieces of legislation in the last four years come to fruition. With an amended Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice, Bylaws, and policy, Council, staff and volunteers have been hard at work.

This is accompanied by the move forward into a fully multijurisdictional exam. The MCQ has been running smoothly through three administrations and work is starting on moving the OSCE forward in the same format. We are also working towards providing additional information and resources for denturists to be able to learn and fulfill their College requirements.

Through this work the College has endeavored to provide denturists with as much information as possible, as quickly as possible. We also work to include denturists as much as possible in our processes. So, if you would like to get involved, reach out - we would be happy to have you!

Lastly, but certainly not less important, Council and staff wish you and your families a happy, restful, and safe holiday season.

Amended Standards of Practice

To incorporate the last changes for Bills 10 and 46, Council has approved amendments to the Standards of Practice effective January 1, 2023.

Review the new Standards now.
