Hope your summer has been going well! I just returned with my family from a short trip to Assateague Island on Maryland's Eastern Shore for the 4th of July holiday. It was nice to be out!
The Forage Center for Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Education(of which I am president) will be offering a face to face 4-day program in Swanton, MD October 7-10, 2021. This will be our first program in two years. We will be seeking role players for Saturday, October 9 to act as internally displaced persons and civil society officials. You must have been fully vaccinated to participate. If you are interested, contact Kate Fergus. The Forage Center will pay a small stipend.
In addition, the Forage Center was been offering virtual Forage Center Conversations on issues related to humanitarian assistance, training, and education. Check them out to catch up on issues related to humanitarian practices.
