Connecting to Purpose: Making Your Mission Come Alive February 24th Breakfast Webinar

Many of us are still navigating uncharted waters, as we lead our organizations (or departments) through changes complicated by the continued impact of COVID-19…and it has been a long journey.

Anyone else feeling a little weary right now? So how do we recharge ourselves and our people?

Connecting (or re-connecting) with your organization’s mission and purpose is a terrific way to intentionally re-engage your team, your organization, and yourself, and build personal and organizational resiliency.

The Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence –- in partnership with the Performance Excellence Network – is very pleased to host an online webinar on February 24: Connecting to Purpose: Making Your Mission Come Alive"

The session facilitator will be Dr. JoAnn Sternke, former superintendent at Pewaukee Public Schools, a 2013 Baldrige recipient. JoAnn is a Senior Director and Coach at Studer Education (a 2010 Baldrige recipient), a Baldrige master examiner, past member of Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Panel of Judges, and is currently serving as interim superintendent for the Shorewood (WI) School District. JoAnn will share her insights and tips on how leaders — at all levels of an organization — can (re)build workforce engagement, create a culture that focuses on aligning personal action with the organization’s mission, and create an environment that inspires action that will improve organizational performance.

This session is Thursday, February 24 from 8:00-9:00 CT (optional speed networking and mingling 7:45-8:00), using Zoom MEETING. Grab your coffee and breakfast, and join us for a rich discussion. Free for PEN/WCPE members; $20 for non-members.

Can’t make it live but interested in the content? Register anyway: all registered attendees get a link to the recording after the session!

Beyond Grit: Practical Tools to Build Resilience and Courage — Mar 10 Webinar

We are all faced with continuing challenges. But as leaders and professionals are still expected to produce. And despite all the factors that we cannot control, we can choose to lead with grit, purpose and passion.

Join us for a special online webinar discussion on March 10: “Beyond Grit: Practical Tools to Build Resilience and Courage.” The discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Cindra Kamphoff, the opening keynote of the PENworks 2020 conference and the facilitator of the pre-conference for PENworks 2022!

Cindra Kamphoff, Ph.D., CMPC, is an award-winning keynote speaker and executive coach for leaders, professional athletes, executives and championship teams. Last summer Cindra worked with the United States Olympic Track and Field team while they were in Tokyo working with the athletes one-on-one to help them train their minds.

In this discussion, Cindra will explore tools to help us see opportunities (rather than challenges), savor the good, and commit to leading with grit for the future — tools and best practices that will help us all deliver at peak performance, but also motivate and energize the teams we lead.
