Alexandra was born in Romania. She holds a Bachelor's in Biology, a Master's in Environmental Science, and a California State Teaching Credential. She has served as the Saint Kosmas Conference Children's Program Director from its beginning.
Presv. Martha has a BSE in Art Education, K-12. She has been teaching children’s art for over 30 years — in art institutes, in public and private schools, and privately in her home studio. We are thankful to have her again as a lead instructor in the Children's Program at the 2020 Saint Kosmas Conference.
As part of our mission to serve Orthodox families, Saint Kosmas Orthodox Education looks for speakers to address the current legal and legislative arena of homeschooling. This year we have invited a special guest speaker to the 2020 Saint Kosmas Conference — Nathan Pierce, Director of Operations and Legislative Liaison for Family Protection Ministries of California. We are greatly indebted to those who vigilantly work to keep homeschooling legal so that we have the freedom to educate our children at home without government interference.
