WCA will teach students to be lifelong learners by challenging their minds in academic subject areas. Report Cards will be issued on March 8th instead of Monday, March 7^th

Wednesday, March 9: Chapel Day (Chapel Attire)

Music Share Day for Grades 2 and 4

Thursday, March 10: Regular School Day (School Uniforms or PE Uniforms if your child has PE)

Friday, February 11: Regular School Day (School Uniforms or PE Uniforms if your child has PE)

Music Share Day

Next week, students in Grades 1-4 can participate in Music Share Day! Sing a song or play an instrument to share your music with your classmates. (Piano players may use the piano in the music room.). If you prefer not to perform, consider sharing about a concert or other musical event that you saw. Or you may do a 'show and tell' about an instrument someone in your family plays. If you can't bring the instrument in, print off a picture of it from the internet! Grades 1 and 3 will share on Monday, March 7, and Grades 2 and 4 will share on Wednesday, March 9.

Spring Basketball Clinic

All 3rd – 8th grade boys and girls are invited to join Coach Hastings, Coach Peeler and Coach Chris, for a fun six-week Spring Basketball Clinic.

We will meet on the following Fridays from 3pm to 4:30pm:

March 11, 18, and 25

April 1, 8, and 29

Board Game Club

Mrs. Potter and Mrs. Krahn will lead this fun time! Kids will learn how to win and lose with grace and good sportsmanship. A little devotion about God’s character will start each game time as well. Please email [email protected] to sign up.

Healthy Hawks

We are excited to announce our Healthy Hawks Campaign to promote the importance of making good choices and living a healthy lifestyle.

We will begin with a fun Pep Rally, followed by a Spirit Week, and then a FUN RUN! The Healthy Hawks Campaign promotes positive character qualities, healthy habits & having fun while supporting our school! The Fun Run is an excellent opportunity to build school spirit and raise funds for the Hawk Fund to further enhance the exceptional education offered to our students at Weddington Christian Academy. Stay tuned; our student fundraising website will be launching soon!
